Riyadh’s candidacy was endorsed by delegates from 119 countries out of 165 total delegates who voted in Paris on Tuesday 28 Nov 2023.

Along with hosting the 2034 FIFA World Cup, Expo 2030 will transform Riyadh and Saudi Arabia and will be an opportunity to showcase the achievements of Vision 2030.

This global achievement, highlighting its prestigious international standing and ability to host successful global events.

Expo 2030 will provide extensive opportunities for Australian and Saudi companies to work together to realise this transformation.

Saudi Arabia Condemns Israeli Minister’s Comment to Drop Nuclear Bomb on Gaza

Saudi Arabia on Sunday condemned in the strongest terms extremist remarks made by an Israeli government minister regarding dropping a nuclear bomb on the besieged Gaza Strip.

The Kingdom’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said such remarks show the level of “extremism and brutality among members of the Israeli government.”

“Not dismissing the minister immediately and only freezing his membership constitutes the utmost disregard for all human standards and values,” it added.
